This honours thesis examines how students perceive the effectiveness and authenticity of peer vs. Generative AI (GenAI) feedback in higher education. Drawing on interviews with students from Dr. MacKinnon’s Intro Psychology courses—who experienced peer feedback in Fall 2023 and AI feedback via Stemble in Winter 2024—the study explores GenAI’s evolving role in learning and its potential to complement or challenge traditional feedback practices.
